Offshore Law firm Mourant Ozannes decided that they needed to refurbish and update the reception and client meeting areas of their offices in Grenville Street.
Style Office's Mark Shaw worked with Mark Coppins from Axis Mason and Richard Stather from Colin Smith on the Mourant Ozannes brief to update their main reception, five client suites and waiting area, the law library and also create a brand new café for their staff.
The team were asked to provide a modern, contemporary look and feel to all areas but also keep a degree of traditional styling in keeping with the legal nature of the Mourant Ozanne business and the clientele they have.
Through a series of meetings and workshops with the Directors and the Facilities team at Mourant Ozannes , a portfolio of products were selected and specified so that they incorporated wooden structure that suited the more formal nature of the business but were also upholstered in modern leathers and colours to give the contemporary feel they were after.
The reception used the Lola chair with wooden legs and aubergine leather to match the corporate colours of Mourant Ozannes. These chairs were also installed in the client waiting area but this time in two differing grey leathers to give a more formal appearance and partnered with Allermuir coffee tables with Oak tops to match the chair legs.
In the five meeting rooms Pars tables were selected in a Walnut veneer finish with solid aerofoil edge detailing. All the tables were configured with extensive power and data to allow full audio visual capabilities. These tables were partnered with Symmetry seating.
The library area used the Kruze chair in a mixture of high and mid back versions. This chair range was supplied with walnut back shells and a mix of anthracite and portland grey leather seat facings, all on polished swivel frames. The coffee tables were also provided with matching walnut tops and polished frames.
In the staff café the team were asked to provide a more informal and fun solution so a variety of furniture was supplied including the Poseur tables and JoJo Stools. Two Octo sofas and three Conic lounge chairs helped to provide a softer, more relxed breakout area for staff. To add a bit of fun one of the Conic chairs was upholstered in Gorilla print fabric. The café also included a more standard dining height table with four chairs - two of the chairs having dark Wenge legs and Oak shells and the other two chairs the reversed, with Oak legs and dark Wenge shells.
"Our aim when refurbishing our client waiting area was to create a feeling of professionalism and quality in a contemporary style that reflected our brand." says Linda O'Connell, Head of Office Services at Mourant Ozannes.
" We also wanted to provide a more comfortable break out area for our staff to relax in. Style Office helped us achieve this by assisting us in the selection of furniture from a variety of manufacturers. The project was managed from start to finish with efficiency and attention to detail and the team were a pleasure to work with."
