Aztec recently moved from their old offices in Commercial Street to 11-15 Seaton Place - a recently refurbished building that now consists of four floors of mainly open plan office space. Aztec has taken the top two floors to accommodate 72 staff plus various management and meeting rooms.
Style Office successfully tendered for the project which was managed by Colin Smith Partnership and designed by Cathy Elliott of Elliott Design Partnership.
Senator Highway workstations in sweeping banks of desks of Maple tops and white pedestals gives a modern look together with the apple green desk mounted screens. For ease of use, all workstations were fitted with flat screen monitor arms and the storage, all in white, is spread throughout both floors.
In addition to the Senator furniture, Style Office also supplied Allermuir soft seating - the new Jaks range - for breakout areas. Reception seating and tables were from the Connection range who also provided the furniture for the staff cafe.
Aztec had specialist requirements for their boardroom. Their meeting room layout consisting of one large boardroom with folding partitions to two smaller meeting rooms. This give Aztec the opportunity to open up the space and create one large conference room in which a minimum of sixteen people can be comfortably seated. This area was created using modular Tula tables with central cable management.
Cathy Elliott has used strong colours throughout the building with splashes of colour in the carpet and even on the certain walls to give a very modern and striking visual appearance. The overall effect with the furniture in position is of a modern and efficient working environment.
"It has been an absolute pleasure to deal with the Style Team on the Aztec Group House project” says Amanda Zunino, Office Manager of Aztec Group “I am delighted with the quality of their recommended products and the finished result is exactly what we specified."
