GSPCA Topping Out
Work is continuing apace on the multi purpose animal welfare building at GSPCA.
Now that the building is watertight with the roof complete and the windows and external doors installed, GSPCA and AC Mauger held a Topping Out ceremony last week.
The GSPCA Trustees and teams, together with invited supporters, Build Partners and guest of honour Mrs Lynda Walker, wife of GSPCA patron Lieutenant Governor Peter Walker, attended the event at the new build site. With AC Mauger staff positioned on the roof, Mrs Walker and Susan Trebert unveiled a beautiful weather vane, designed and crafted by Bruce Russell to commemorate the occasion.
Steve Byrne, GSPCA Manager, thanked everyone who supported, donated and attended the land mark event in the build programme of the much needed multi purpose animal welfare building which is due to complete later this summer.
